OUR STORY
In August 1979, our father, Leroy Douglas was visiting London, England when he heard about a property for sale not far from where he was raised. At the time it only had the villa, but he had a vision. Over the years, he built a three story building which we which dubbed “The Tower”. The lower level was his living quarters and a communal kitchen. The other two floors consist of 6 single rooms with its own bathroom, which he rented to guests. After his passing in 2002, his three daughters have taken over the property. Our goal is to provide a relaxing environment coupled with excellent Jamaican hospitality. Bleu Haven is located on the A3 highway, the main route that runs from Ocho Rios to Port Maria. It sits on a bluff overlooking the Caribbean Sea with a easy 2 minute walking access to the sea. It is approximately 11 kilometers or 7 miles from Ocho Rios which is a bustling tourist town especially when the cruise ships come into port. There are many shops that cater to the locals and the tourists. There are also many attractions and restaurants close by.
